Some adau1452 internal peripherals can be turned off to save power and reduce current draw. Go to tab Hardware Configuration -> ADAU145x Register Controls -> Power Clocking
This configuration acts on internal register of the DSP, remember to set these before burning your algorithm to eeprom.
Green buttons indicate enabled functions while red indicates turned off functions:
2/3FS CLK: Turn off if 32kHz sampling frequency is not used.
Serial output 0: turns on/off out0 & out1
Serial output 1: turns on/off out16 & out17
Serial output 2 and Serial output 3: most likely not used so you can turn them off.
Serial input 0: turns on/off in0 & in1 . Turn it off if your project only generates sound and does not process any input signal!
Serial input 1, Serial input 2 and Serial input 2 : most likely not used so you can turn them off.
ASRC: you can turn this off if you’re not using ASRC
SPDIF: our adau1452 board doesn’t use SPDIF so you can turn off both transmitter than receiver.
PDM: this is power for PDM MEMS Microphones. Turn off if not using MEMS mics.
ADC Power: turns on/off AuxADC. If AuxADC is not used turn this off.
